Attorney Natalie Lopez has been devoted to criminal defense for nearly two decades when her interest was first sparked by mock trials. Her first mock trial was in high school and continued into Nova Southeastern University School of Law (NSU). During law school, Attorney Natalie Lopez was a director of their Trial Association, and founded NSU’s Human Rights Organization. During law school, her focus was on a myriad of topics under criminal defense and civil rights, and her dissertation papers included advocating for prisoners and legislation reform for sex workers.
She went on to work for high volume litigation firms such as a Miami entertainment law firm that represents famous reggaeton artists such as Gente de Zona and Alex Sensation; Detroit’s Legal Aid and Defender Association, and eventually as an Assistant Public Defender for Broward County. Attorney Natalie Lopez has worked on thousands of state and federal criminal cases, including violent crimes, sex crimes, and murder with complex facts with client’s facing high stakes such as loss of liberty and deportation.
